Continuous roll marking
The marking is achieved by a number of revolutions of the marking roll. The marking roll is bound to a certain work piece diameter. The typ 40-A is especially suitable for turned-parts with variable marking contents, inasmuch the round segment with single letters can be exchanged, according to the application requirements.
Application:
- Marking roll bound to a certain work piece diameter
- Suitable for standard tool holder
- Driving knurl can be removed through further processing after the marking operation (e.g. cutting off)
- Round segment easily exchangeable and mountable
Characteristics:
- Marking is achieved by a number of revolutions of the marking roll
- Continuous contact of the marking roll during the marking process until tool retraction
Handling:
- Precise concentricity required
- No deviation in work piece diameter possible
